Outreach

Trinity Assembly of God believes in outreach....local, domestic and international.  Some of our outreaches include; Navajo Indian Reservation Wood Project, Designs by Dorcas Navajo Children's Dress Project, Nursing Home Ministry, The Blessing Box, Prayer Box, Rescue Mission Children's Day, missions trips and feeding our KISD bus drivers and teachers.  We are in the process of applying to be a distribution site for East Texas Food Bank.  Take a look at some of our projects below.

This is a unique ministry.  We cut wood to take to the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico several times a year.  Local churches pass it out as an outreach tool.  The wood is distributed to elderly residents with no electricity to heat their homes.   We also deliver food and various other items.

The Blessing Box is located by the south gate of the church.  We invite anyone in need of food to stop by and take what you need.  We also welcome donations to help feed our community.  The Prayer Box is a place people in the community can leave prayer requests.  We consider it an honor to prayer for the needs of our community.

Food for the Soul provides Bibles to anyone in our community that would like one.  Donations can be made to the church for the purchase of Bibles.

One of the highlights of the month is visiting Arbor Grace Nursing Home.  We enjoy visiting with the residents and holding services for them.

Designs by Dorcus is a ministry where the ladies of the church and community make dresses to send to the children on the Navajo Indian Reservation.  We will also be making shorts and pairing them with t-shirts for the boys.  We appreciate how our community has supported this ministry by making donations.  We accept donations of fabric, sewing supplies, dresses, and baby & boys clothing.  We will add pictures of distribution once the dresses are delivered to the Navajo Reservation.

This year we partnered with Convoy of Hope to distribute over 1,200 boxes of food and 1,500 gallons of milk to our community.  We hope to schedule many more of these events.

We took part in the Rescue Mission's Children's Day.  We held service for the kids, brought bounce houses and provided a meal.

Every August we have to privilege to provide breakfast for the some of the most important people in our community; our bus drivers and teachers at various KISD schools.
